'There were three of us and we agreed that we were very satisfied. The property was the right distance from Halls Gap. We prefer a quiet experience. A 10-minute drive to Halls Gap and from there to walking opportunities was perfect as we could retire to our quiet spot when we wanted to. We enjoyed the short nature walk on the property. The property is close to Fallen Giants Vineyard, which was handy as we enjoy tastings. The fireplace and amply wood and kindling were good too. There are good views east and west for sunrise and sunset. Lots of 'roos and emus, which were fun.'

'Would have to be one of the best we have experienced. Tucked away on the south cast this property is private, inviting and has everything you need to switch off and feel like you’re a million miles from anything.
The outdoor bath over looking the rolling paddocks and outdoor fire pit was spectacular and of that wasn’t enough being able to sit back and relax whilst listening to the lions across the river was an experienced in itself .'

'Relax surrounded by the sights and sounds of the bush. Breakfast was delicious and it was lovely to sit on the verandah and listen to the brids while we were eating. So magical! Waking up to the wall of windows to see a mama wallaby and her joey right outside was incredible.'

'Cosy green cottage is exactly as described. Lovely stay. A beautiful, rustic original cottage in a gorgeous setting. Lots of walks amongst the trees, games on the veranda, sitting around looking at the views and yoga under the sound of the wind through the trees. Comfy beds. Had everything we needed and we loved the honey. The hosts had taken the care to add personal touches and information needed / contacts set out clearly and we'd have known where to get support if needed. It was lovely to disconnect and return to nature.'

'The Sea Loft was the perfect place to stay on Kangaroo Island. It’s close enough to Kingscote but also far enough away to feel secluded. We were visited daily by the local wild life, including kangaroos, wallabies and even an echidna! The property had great facilities including a fully equipped kitchen and BBQ. Located centrally enough to everything on the island it provided a great base camp to see all KI has to offer.'
