'Lovely, quiet and nice place, nice house and beautiful environment. I loved the silence and atmosphere of the house, nice hosts who live in the house next door but who give you all the privacy. House was neat and cosy, flowers on the table. Very tidy. The village is a little 20 minutes walk, only that is a nice walk. Bergen offers a lot. The area is beautiful. Really nice place.'

This rustic charming cabin has 1 bedroom and  1 bathroom yet can sleep 6 guests in the forest next to the ocean. Set in 9 acres of private forest, this is a quiet getaway. Look across the Harbour to the Gulf Island National Reserve and colorful Salish skies. Must have a 4WD and good fitness for access reasons.

'We wanted to feel like we were getting away from it all for a nice relaxing reset and spending quality time together. Although it is a 'rustic & quaint' cabin, it is super comfy with the big oversized couch, double soaker tub and quality queen mattress. Its thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. We were surrounded by eagles in nearby trees and enjoyed walking the ocean edge. The bay is so still in the morning we felt like we were on a lake. We loved the locals we met at the farmers market, and the vibe of the island and hope to come back and stay again in warmer months. On top of all the loveliness of the location, cabin and amenities, the hosts communication was top notch.'

'Superb. Beautiful, snug little cottage, amazing shower and bath, and super toasty fireplace. Perfect Getaway Place! I loved the location. Nature all around. Beautiful interior with all the necessities I required. The spa bath was fantastic too. Bush walks all around. Privacy. Would love to stay again!

'A very special place! Staying in this lovely bungalow with the river at the end of the garden was idyllic. You are surrounded by nature here. We had wonderful views of Kingfishers. We saw Spotted Flycatcher, Marsh Tit, a Barn Owl, and Swallows were nesting in an Outbuilding. So many other birds too!... there were Deer, Hedgehogs, Badgers, Bats, Foxes. There was a vast array of insect life too, with some beautiful damsel flies, dragonflies, butterflies, and moths, Recommend arranging the tour with Jon, he was great! We had so many peaceful walks and feel very relaxed - we both want to return!'

'Would definitely stay again. I have been coming to the Highlands for 38 years, and can honestly say that this is one of the best places I’ve stayed at. The location was superb, being on the start of a forest and still no kore than ten minutes drive from the airport, 15 minutes to a major retail park which includes all the shops you need and then an 1 hour down the road you have some of the most stunning scenery Scotland has to offer.'

We spent a week in Cannich and it was exactly what we were looking for: a very nice cottage in the woods, next to the river, with possibilities of hikes in the surrounding. The property is immersed in the woods which makes it perfect if you are looking for a break from urban environment. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. We highly recommend it.'
