A fresh loaf of sourdough bread, farm fresh eggs, and more were awaiting us in our romantic, impeccably furnished cottage. It felt like we were staying in someone's private home rather than a vacation rental.'

Bush Grove on the Snowy River - near Jindabyne - NSW Australia

This is the quintessential mountain home, brought totally up to date with all modern contraptions. Not that you need them, as you are set on 100 acres of private natural bushland, with abundant wildlife. Not to mention the Brumbies! 16 km or 10 miles to Jindabyne township.

'Wonderful large country cottage in an iconic location. We had a very enjoyable stay at Bush Grove. The cottage has a comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom and a fantastic view over the valley down to the Snowy River. A great place to stay!'

'We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful heritage stone house. What a surprise when we stepped inside this tiny picture perfect cottage You can see it has been renovated with love and no expense spared. The finishes are stunning. The timber pitched roof, the fireplace and the lighting creates a wonderful alpine atmosphere. All the modern conveniences make it a joy to stay in. Dishwasher, heated floors and drying cupboard as well as a luxurious bathroom and queen sized bed.'

'We loved staying at The Chapel. The owners are lovely, the accommodation is perfect for a short stay. We love where the bed is located! We opened the blinds and watched the sunrise through the valley of Crackenback, it's amazing!'

'Very pretty and pleasant, quiet cottage. We spent a wonderful week at the Champollion cottage. It is perfectly and tastefully furnished, with everything you need for comfort. The owners are absolutely charming, discreet but very present, and very responsive to any concerns. The cottage is perfectly located to enjoy the beautiful sunsets in the Lot countryside and close to many places to visit. We will gladly return!'

'A perfect place for a holiday. The cottage is very nice, the owner is helpful and the location is perfect. It is excellent as a starting point for making walking trips in the surroundings. Haute-Vienne has a large number of marked walking routes. And you can also make a trip to Limoges.'

'Beautiful place, at the foot of the fortress. Silence, morning mist rising from the valley… And so many beautiful places to see… The last one… Belcastel… magnificent! The Perrier photographer’s exhibition, a nice little restaurant in a village etc…. And our host… adorable!'

Maset - Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt - Vaucluse -France

'A Piece of heaven. The property was perfect for the two of us and the host is wonderful. The neighborhood is blissfully quiet. The gite had everything we needed (a fully stocked kitchen with plates, silverware, glasses, pots, pans, and a sizable refrigerator). The bed is comfortable and the place is decorated very nicely. There are several hiking trails that leave right from the driveway. We are so glad we stayed here. Highly recommend.'

All in all, a very pleasant stay.'

5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with plenty of family space for 12, this traditional farmhouse has views to the Vesigneux Chateau and is surrounded by quiet countryside.

'Beautiful place in Burgundy. We - a group of five - stayed in Saint-Martin-du-Puy for four weeks in summer. The house is beautifully located on a small hill surrounded by fields, pastures and meadows. The house has been renovated with much care and passion and has a great atmosphere. On the ground floor there is the kitchen and a large living room with a large fireplace. The bedrooms are on the first floor. The terrasse and the huge garden are very beautiful as well, and the huge garden is very well maintained,. Brigitte is a perfect host and always available short term in case of any questions. Saint-Martin-du-Puy is a good place to discover the beautiful villages, castles and nature in the region. We enjoyed the time very much.'
