'Wonderful place. Loved it. Modernized and very comfortable, with enough “Old Tahoe” touches remaining to be great fun. Very responsive and conscientious hosts. Quiet and relaxing with the river next door. Never had a better Tahoe stay. Convenient location to all that Tahoe offers.'

'Perfect little cabin. This was just the right spot for our family of six -- two adults and four little ones. Everything was clean and comfortable and convenient. Enjoyed making meals in the kitchen. Beds were comfy and fresh. Vibe is cute and cozy.'

'We had the best time staying here! It was close to shopping, the beach, and lots of hikes. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. The host really has thought of all the possible needs of someone staying there. We would definitely stay here again. We loved our log cabin get away.'

Sleeping 6 in 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this is a cheery and charming cabin just inland from Tahoma with a cedar sauna, porch, fireplace and fully-equipped kitchen. Close to the Rubicon Trail.

'The perfect cabin in the woods by the lake. This house has everything; great location, comfortable beds, kitchen was stocked with all utensils and good sharp knives (having dull knives in a rental is the worst). Sauna was the icing on the cake! The host was attentive and responded quickly, overall excellent experience.'

Cosy in the forest, with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and plenty of space for 6 guests find your happy place. Complete with indoor fireplace, decks, expansive lawns, briquette BBQ, fully-equipped kitchen, fire pit, private cabin with loft, this is all on a three-quarter acre forested block. Located in the heart of Garden Bay in Pender Harbour. 70 km or 44 miles from Langdale ferry terminal, just over 2 hours travel time from Vancouver.

'Peaceful sanctuary at Garden Bay! We really enjoyed our experience staying at this lovely, bright, peaceful sanctuary in Garden Bay on the Sunshine Coast! The house is bright with lots of large windows and a beautiful deck facing the harbour which we spent alot of time on! The kitchen is very well equipped with high end appliances and everything we needed! The house is situated at Garden Bay which is a perfect home base to explore the beautiful Pender Harbour area. Each day we hiked, swam, kayaked or explored the area - several nice bakeries, coffee shops and restaurants in the surrounding area and access to wonderful hikes and lakes for swimming! The best part was the peace and quiet at this beautiful property - the hosts were wonderful and helpful and answered all of our questions in a timely manner!'

Indigo Cottage - Ruby Lake - Sunshine Coast - BC - Canada

Wow, this magical cottage sleeps 4 people in 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, with Ruby Lake just a couple of minutes walk. This fully-equipped cottage is perfect for a short break or an extended stay with hiking trails nearby. Relax amidst the tranquility of the rainforest, with birdsong, towering fir trees, and glimpses of deer and painted turtles. So gorgeous.

'Serene cottage getaway. My partner and I were looking for a quiet weekend getaway at a lake, and found the perfect location with Indigo Cottage. At just a short 2-3 minute walk from the Ruby Lake, the water is easily accessible while being just far enough to not hear the sounds of other lake-goers. The cottage had everything we needed and more, from the spacious, open main floor to the upper bedroom area. The south facing patio with BBQ was a treat to use, as well as the cottage grounds containing a small body of water at the end that was great for watching wildlife. The host was very welcoming and communicative, and even provided butter and olive oil when we realized we forgot to bring some! I would stay at Indigo Cottage again in a heartbeat.'

'This was a slice of heaven on earth! Every single detail was beautiful, soul-calming, awe-inspiring and delightful. The lush greenery and stunning mountain views were perfection, and the Perch itself was a work of art, inside and out. The hosts were an absolute delight and I can't wait to go back.'

A stylish fully-quipped kitchen, loads of natural light and space make this a comfortable and charming stay. Just 11 km or 7 miles to the bluebells of King's Wood. Close to villages, cafes and restaurants.

'Family friendly. Great little place tucked away on the countryside. Hosts were very welcoming and happy to answer any questions. Very clean and comfortable accommodation, lovely little welcome pack provided. My 3 year old loved exploring the farm and fields.'

'Really enjoyed our weekend stay at Crow Cottage. It was everything we hoped for--quiet rural location, nice outdoor spaces, interesting architecture and history, secluded. The cottage was very clean, well-equipped, and welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would not hesitate to book again.'

Old School House - Woodchurch - Kent - UK

This 17th Century listed historic building is a delight for visitors. Located within the charming village of Woodchurch yet close to the forests of Kent, this cottage had to be included here because of its enchanting character. Enjoy the gardens, fireplace, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and space for 6 guests. Whimsy, charm, enchantment, magic, did I mention how pretty it is?

'The perfect cosy retreat. The welcome was glorious! Lovely and warm, Christmas lights twinkling, and a welcome pack of fizz and fruitcake. The house was beautiful and immaculate. It had everything we needed. Logs for the fire, candles, matches, condiments etc. All these little touches really make a difference. Lovely comfy beds and a beautiful area to explore. We absolutely loved it.'

'Absolutely stunning stay... Don't think about it, just book it. Perfect rural retreat. The Barn is beautiful and lovely touches throughout made for a home away from home experience. Lovely walks nearby too, which elevated the whole stay. Perfect to get away from it all location. Will be staying here soon.'
