What a charming and unique home. With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms your group of 7 will be very comfortable here. Built in 1865 of dressed sandstone with a decorative slate roof and arched upper windows, the property enjoys uninterrupted views of the Cheviot Hills.

'Tranquil Cottage in an ideal location. Myself, my husband and our Dog, Bonnie recently stayed at Brian's cottage for ten days and what a brilliant holiday! The cottage has been so lovingly and carefully restored, the pictures really don’t do it justice. It’s cosy and homely, the kitchen is very well equipped with all the various utensils and pots and pans you could need and the gardens are stunning. Staying in June meant a lot of the garden was in bloom with fruits and veggies starting to ripen and it was a real joy to spend our mornings sat outside with a coffee and again in the evening with a beer. Bonnie in particular loved running around the huge field! The location is fab, very quiet and peaceful and yet only 20 minutes from the beach and 20 mins from Berwick for shops and the supermarket.'

'Gorgeous, private and super peaceful and quiet, the perfect Cotswolds cottage escape! Beautiful property, everything we needed to feel right at home. Kitchen is great for cooking. Pool and steam room is an amazing addition. Hosts are lovely should you need anything. Would definitely book again.'

'Pen y Bont is a beautiful cottage which has been tastefully restored to make a comfortable retreat with everything you need on hand and in good working order! Everything was spotlessly clean and beds cosy and comfortable. The setting is idyllic, beside a small river and with the choice of three secluded seating areas. The village and pub are just over the footbridge and all is peace and quiet.'

'Beautiful, quaint little cottage on lovely grounds. Everything you could need for a short stay was provided and they even included a dog basket with treats, toys and a towel - fab little touch. The location is perfect for exploring lots of areas. Great hosts, very friendly!'

'The ambience of such a historic cottage was fabulous. It made us feel like part of the Irish country side. The host was great and told us the history of the area and his family.'

'Loved it. Great size cottage for two. Very comfy big bed. Well equipped with toaster, microwave, toiletries. Big telly and comfy lounge. Nice gas heater and heating. Nice view from bed over the back area with some alpacas! Lovely fresh furnishings. 4 min drive to main street of town.'

'The amazing sunlight that beams through the kitchen windows were pure magic! The feeling when you walk in, you’re in awe! Something out of a storybook! Host was amazing all the way through and communication was great!'

What a surprise when we stepped inside this tiny picture perfect cottage You can see it has been renovated with love and no expense spared. The finishes are stunning. The timber pitched roof, the fireplace and the lighting creates a wonderful alpine atmosphere. All the modern conveniences make it a joy to stay in. Dishwasher, heated floors and drying cupboard as well as a luxurious bathroom and queen sized bed.'
