'We had a very happy stay and will probably book it again. Hullet Hall is a very comfortable cottage for six people to stay in . The situation on the shore of Windermere is idyllic and the hot tub was a great bonus. It is very well appointed and is dog friendly.'

'A wonderful place with a garden and a wonderful terrace. View of the lake and mountains. Large garden with a barbecue area. The villa is very interestingly designed. Stone, wood, steel and glass. This is the perfect combination for a vacation on Como. And of course lots of greenery.'

Alright, I admit, it is not strictly a cottage, but the lakeside location and stunning historic villa has me swooning. Stay in a modern 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in this beautiful lemon neoclassical villa. This characteristic and charming building dates from 1611. Enjoy the terrace and gardens with sublime lake views. Parking is available, enjoy privacy and peace by the water away from traffic and crowds. A short walk to Torno for cafes and restaurants. Live a little.

'Beautiful Villa Apartment. Lovely spot to stay on Lake Como. Torno turned out to be a little gem with great ferry access, fun cafes and a great restaurant. The apartment has a spectacular balcony and steps down to the lake for a daily swim. Access to the villa's beautiful grounds felt like you were royalty and easy parking took the stress out of Como's vehicle challenges. The host couldn't have been nicer.'

Stroll to cafes, bars and restaurants, take the ferry to Cannobio. Drive 23 km or 15 miles to Locarno is Switzerland.

'Great location with Italian charm. Excellent location right downstairs, on the promenade, the pier and various nice little bars. Wine tasting in the Hotel Cannero. Absolutely recommended.'

'Astonishing view on the Lago Maggiore. We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful old house which is carefully restored with eye for authentic details. The garden is lovely with sun and shade and a superb view on the lake. It’s very quiet and relaxed. The house has two nice bedrooms, the upper one has the same beautiful view on the lake. The kitchen is fully equipped. Very friendly owner. Donego is a small hamlet. You can park your car at the beginning of the village, from there you walk in a few minutes to the house. In Cannero Riviera (ten minutes drive) there’s a good supermarket and a baker. There is also a nice hiking path to Cannero.'

'Exceptional stay with family. Everything is there: the house, the setting. Whole accommodation very clean and very well equipped. Loch Earn right in front is beautiful. There were 6 of us and plenty of room. I dream to come back in a future stay. It was a bonus to see a deer in the garden at sunrise.'

'Well-equipped, modern and comfortable holiday home in a beautiful location. Everywhere was clean and everything worked. The cherry on the cake was a pleasant beach sauna, where you could get a good steam bath. Holidaymakers were also remembered with small pleasant things such as water already brought to the sauna and flowers on the terrace.'

'The cottage was amazing. We had a wonderful time. The place had a great character and charm and was clean and tidy and had everything we had been wanted. We made use of the bikes and SUP Boards. The lake was ideal (especially as we are novice SUP Boarders), and you could go further into the body of the main lake if you were more confident SUP Boarders. There was a local shop, winery and pizza place nearby and we drove to local towns. Wonderful stay and would definitely recommend.'
