'Our second visit to the Round House. We love the feeling of the house, we relax the minute we get there. It's peaceful and quiet and we love sitting in the garden listening to the birds. The house is well equipped and comfortable, filled with interesting art and sculptures to catch your eye. It's perfect to explore around the area.'

'Charming. A very characterful house in a lovely village. Easton might look small but has a lot of historical significance, nice pub a short walk away, and lots of beautiful walks on the doorstep.'

'The cottage is quirky, clean and very well equipped with all we needed for a week away. There were even some nice extra treats for the family (including the dog), which was quite unexpected and showed real thought. We would love to return!'

'What a wonderful location in the middle of the unique Dungeness. The joy of this visit started with the helpful and delightful people in the managing agency. The cottage is, if anything, better than anticipated. It is well founded, and ready to make us feel at home. To say it is 'shabby chic' would be a great disservice as it is clear that every room has been carefully thought through and the items chosen with style. To be able to stroll from the front door to the shingle bank is superb. Our hostess was just finishing her checks as we arrived, a tad early, and she was thoroughly delightful.'

'Perfect, relaxing break. Everything was perfect. An excellent get away from it all break. We even took the time to appreciate the variety of wildlife visiting the garden, including our favourite, the woodpecker. The view was beautiful and the sunsets were spectacular. Janet was an amazing host and the lemon drizzle cake really is that good!'

Built by owner in 2006, the amazing structure completes a full 360-degree rotation in about 45 minutes… enough time to finish a glass of wine and refill. 'Beautiful house with stunning views! Had an amazing stay with friends. The Rotating House offers great views and allow us to enjoy the surrounding scenery of grazing cattle and mountains. The house is very cosy and really comfortable. All in our large group had an awesome time. We had an excellent holiday and appreciate all the effort the owners have put into making guests feel at home.'

'Perfect! The Gite de Colombier was a charming place to stay, and our host was very pleasant and helpful. The gardens and location were beautiful. The continental breakfast was good. We will plan to return there when we explore more of the area next summer.'

'A wonderful stay in a beautiful place. We had a wonderful week in the dovecote! Everything was perfect, the rooms were beautifully decorated, we didn't need a thing-everything was there for us and it was cosy and comfortable.The setting in the garden was stunning and it was like living in a fairytale setting. The hosts couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, helping to set the log stove with a cosy fire on a chilly evening and altering the seats on their bicycles so we could borrow them for the short cycle into the centre of Offranville. Tintin the donkey was a great addition, he was very friendly and he loved a stroke and many many carrots. We had such a fantastic time, I can't recommend it enough.'

'We can’t wait to go back. The windmill is an experience unlike any other, we felt like we landed in a fairytale book. The view is spectacular and it’s impossible not to unwind in the garden. The windmill is fully stocked if you feel like cooking and the bed is cozy. We loved the seven minute walk to the authentically Cretan village of Kroustas. Our 4-year-old daughter loved the swing and the birds and the little park in the village. The hospitality of our host and the people in the village was incredible. There is wonderful hiking nearby and it’s a very close drive to bigger centres. If you are looking to really experience Cretan culture and step out of the typical tourist circuit-this is the place!'
